If you’re looking for some great music in a fun, casual atmosphere, the Blues Can in Inglewood is a great option. I headed there on Tuesday night looking for just that, and found duo Joe Nolan and Steven Halvorson. Young and fun, these two clearly love to rock out. Joe Nolan’s vocals stole the show, singing some originals and mostly covers he held the small audience captive. Both Halvorson and Nolan were enthusiastic and engaging. They clearly loved to play, making them fun to watch! You can check them out yourself on January 22 at the Blues Can; there is no cover, pints are cheap, and the food is great.
